San Blas, in the state of Nayarit, is a warm place where the beauty of exuberant tropical vegetation and the tranquility of their beautiful beaches blend in with a colonial history, combined with pirate attacks, expeditions and glorious combats for the independence of Mexico.
This tour is designed for the adventurous tourist, we travel north on federal highway 200, towards the the port of San Blas, where along the way we will go through the small farming towns of La Peñita, las Varas, Zacualpan and the beautiful beach of Platanitos. Ours first stop will be the ecological park of La Tovara, where you will be able to admire the wild life of the estuary (alligators, tropical birds, turtles, etc.).
This is a comfortable and complete tour that will take you to discover the State of Nayarit. Please bring comfortable shoes, camera, towels and extra money for the stores and gratuities. The drinks and meals are not included in the tour.
We continue to the town of San Blas where we visit the fort built to protect the port from the pirate attacks. From here we go have lunch in one of the restaurants located right on the beach. You can enjoy a swim on the beach or work on your tan.
The tovara is a water spring located in San Blas, Nayarit, in the state of Nayarit which has a natural pond of sweet water in the middle of the tideland in the base of a ridge. The area is very extensive and is full of natural canals into the jungle that flow through the Bay of Matachen in the Pacific Ocean. The vegetation is leafy and full of tropical plants among them are the ones that stand like the giant ferns and the mangroves, and a extensive wildlife that includes crocodiles, turtles, jaguars, ocelots,armadillos and a huge variety of birds and fishes
